Where the river meets the sea.

A stunning coastline where the river meets the sea – this is how every guests would describe Punta Riviera Resort.

About 5-6 hours away from Manila if you’d take a bus but when we went there by car, it took us 7  hours. You might want to check my blog post on our recent weekend getaway in Bolinao here.

Room rates range from Php 4,704 (good for 2 persons) up to Php 20,720 (good for 20 persons).

As you enter the reception area, you’d really feel that you’re in a secluded place because unlike the usual hotel and resort receptions, Punta Riviera is quite at peace.

When we first checked-in, we didn’t see any guests at first glance until we saw the pool area but more on that later.

Open Area

The common area spans from left to right giving guests a place to relax and walk around.

Riviera Room

As for my honest opinion, the resort’s Riviera room where we stayed is not that grand.

It’s clean, yes but it’s small enough that it’s hard to move around.

Their bathroom looks more like the one we have at home not those of hotels with the same worth as this.

But don’t stop reading okay? I might sound not pleased with the room but I tell you that your money is worth the price. Keep reading if you’re still undecided where to stay in Bolinao.

Infinity Pool

Punta Riviera’s main attraction is its infinity pool with the view of Patar Beach and Ilog Malino.

Perfect place to relax and take delight staring at the horizon.

Lap Pool

Aside from the infinity pool, there’s another lap pool of about 10m long.

Kayak in Ilog Malino

If you’re up for an adventure while you’re in a staycation, Punta Riviera gives its guests a 30 minutes free kayak ride up to 4kms in Ilog Malino.

We didn’t try it though because I just want to relax. Tee-hee! So we just watched these little kids enjoy their mornings.

Patar Beach in Punta Island

Just about a hundred steps across the bridge from Punta Riviera, guests can freely enjoy the creamy white sand beach of Patar.

You can also play beach volleyball!

But we didn’t because of the same reason we didn’t try the kayak. So we just took advantage of it as a backdrop. Tee-hee!

The room rates are all inclusive of Pinoy Breakfast, free use of swimming pools, 30 mins kayaking/room, 30 mins use of table tennis and another 30 mins of billiards. Wi-Fi around the public areas of the resort is also available.

Earliest check-in without charge would be 1pm and check-out at 11am.
