One of our favorite things to do together is eat. My boyfriend and I found this underrated restaurant in Tagaytay while searching for a place to eat Bulalo two years ago.
Unlike restaurants flocked by many, Loumar’s Cafe and Restaurant stayed nearly unknown to tourists despite the fact that it’s just along the highway.
If you happen to be a person who relish a Pinoy + Nature ambiance while devouring lunch or dinner over some music in the scene, visiting Loumar’s should be in your foodie bucketlist.
They have nipa huts with tables mostly good for 4-6 persons so bringing your friends and family to dine is recommended but having only yourself or only with your loved one won’t hurt.
The area is vast enough to bring your whole clan as well.
During our first time here, I remembered Bulalo was not available and so when we saw the menu and spotted Crispy Pata in the list, we ended up ordering it with two extra rice.
Just last month, we returned again for the nth time. We order the same thing every time. Why? Because two years ago, we happened to eat the best crispy pata we’ve ever tasted! See for yourself!

We all have a favorite distant place to eat and feel like you never left home.
